Champions of a green tomorrow
Gulf Biopolymer Industries (GBI) is the first manufacturer in the Middle East of 100% renewable and 100% biodegradable polylactic acid, entirely made from organic biomass, and used to make biopolymers for the consumer packaging and textiles sectors.
Creating a new brand for GBI, with their mission to reduce harmful plastics in the GCC region and beyond, is an ideal brief for Start Green, Start Design Group’s not-for-profit initiative set up to support emerging businesses in the green and circular economy.
Close collaboration between GBI and Start Green resulted in the creation of a distinctive new brand positioning, Champions of a Green Tomorrow, which led to the design of a refreshed brand identity with numerous applications, including a new, low-carbon website.
